Hi, I’m Mark.
I’m an IGCSE English specialist with over 10 years of teaching experience across Ireland, England and Dubai. I now work fully online, helping students achieve top grades in IGCSE English Language and Literature.
My teaching is passionate, structured and exam-focused. Students learn exactly how to approach questions, write high-level responses, and think like Grade 8–9 candidates. I provide model answers, precise strategies, and targeted feedback that lead to rapid improvement.
My students consistently achieve excellent results, including significant jumps in coursework and exam performance. Alongside English, I also support students in Maths, French and the Sciences, as well as CAT4 and GL preparation for competitive secondary school entrance exams.
A key part of my work is academic coaching, helping students learn how to learn: how to take effective notes, manage their time, approach studying with the right mindset, and build independence so they take real ownership of their education.
